Brethren,

This will be an exciting and rewarding Masonic year.

I am looking forward to accomplishing the following items below and know with confidence that we will tick off the “boxes” as we have a young and eager set of officers.

The “boxes” being: Membership, Ritual and South, Fraternal Visits and Caring.

Membership – I am looking for support in admitting at least 10 new members into our lodge this year. Continuing growth in membership is essential to the ongoing success of our lodge.

Ritual and South – The saying “work hard and play hard” rings true in this respect. Ritual is important to learn, understand and deliver in a manner that keeps Brethren interested and alert.

Once ritual is grasped, this flows over to the south where friendships are renewed.

Fraternal Visits – Interaction between our lodges is most important. The interaction leads to increased exposure of our lodge and meeting new Brethren. Again through the support of officers and members I am looking to have at least 6 fraternal visits this year.

Caring – Some of our long serving members are advancing in age. Lest we forget, they were and are the corner stone of our lodge that has made it successful. We in turn need to treat such members with respect so that they always feel welcome and continue to enjoy their Freemasonry.

With the above being worked on throughout the year, I am confident that our lodge will grow from strength to strength. I have no doubt that all of you will help to achieve this.

This is going to be a fun and exciting year!
