Brethren,
I am looking forward and to the challenges of this coming Masonic year
The challenges of Membership, Caring and Charity are main issues that will show the way forward.
Membership – the need to increase the membership with new energetic members is a real challenge to ensure the health of the Lodge over the next 300 meetings.
Caring – in particular as some of our members may and are becoming infirm, will tax us to ensure that they can continue to enjoy their Freemasonry.
Charity - the Lodge has always contributed to Masonic and non-Masonic charities and will continue to do so.
During my year as Worshipful Master, the Lodge will celebrate its 700th meeting, in August. There will be celebrations to mark the occasion, with the initiation of 2 Brothers and a special Anniversary social.
Our lodge has been and is a leader in the District with a well established reputation for the manner of delivery of the Ritual, plus its festive board. I will ensure and maintain that tradition.
I confidently look forward of the support of the officers in what should be an exciting and satisfying year.
To our members whom we have missed over time, it is my fervent wish that we may meet during the year. I believe that attendance in Lodge is one of the most ENJOYABLE and VALUABLE experiences in our lives.
May we meet on level and part on the square.
Brad Evans
Worshipful Master
